Once you’ve set up your Brands, Categories and Sub-Categories, you’re ready to begin adding the products that you want to track. 

There are 2 ways to add products, either individually via a form on the site, or as a bulk upload using a CSV file.

Please Note: You cannot manually add individual products unless you have first created the applicable brands, categories and sub-categories.

Adding Products Manually

From the top navigation select “Your Products”. (1)

At the bottom right of the page, you’ll see a red banner that says “Add New Product.” (2)

Click "Add New Product" to start the process.

1. Add your Product name.

2. Add the Product code / SKU that you use for the product.

3. Add the URL of the page for that specific product on your website. 

4. Select a Brand from the dropdown list.

5. Select a Category from the dropdown list.

6. Select a Sub-Category from the dropdown list.

7. Set the product status to “Active.”

8. Click “Add.”

Please Note: You cannot manually add individual products unless you have first created the applicable brands, categories and sub-categories. (Placeholders can be used for this if necessary.)

You have now added a new product. Once complete you can either select "Add another product" or you can select "Add competitors" to add that product for competitors, or click "Done" to close the dialogue.

Deleting Products

To delete a product, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to "Your Products"
   
2. Use the filter to find the product(s) you want to delete.
3. Tick the product(s) you want to delete.
4. Click on  the "Delete" button.
5. Confirm that you wish those products deleted.

Please Note: Deleting a product is permanent. Deleted products, as well as all associated historical data, will be removed from the database and reports. This cannot be undone.

Exporting Products

Once you have added your products, you can export them as a csv at any time. This csv can also be used for bulk updates to your products.

Select the products you would like to export (1) or use the "Select All" option (2) to select all products.

Click on the "Export Products" button (3) to open a save dialogue and save the product csv.
