Adding Competitors

To add a new competitor site, follow the process below. (Please note that every new site is manually checked to ensure 100% accuracy, so there will be a delay before new competitors can be tracked. You will be notified once product URLs can be added.) 


  1. Select your company name in the top right corner.
  2. Click on "Competitors."




On the "New Competitor" page, you'll see how many competitors you have added, as well as how many are included in your package. (1)


You can search the company name (2) to see if the competitor is already on the list of sites we track (2).


The full list, as well as the status and availability of the competitors, are shown in the searchable table at the bottom (3).


If the competitor is available, and not yet added to your account, select them from the drop-down in the search bar (2) and click "Add Selected" (4).


If your desired competitor doesn't appear, you can click "Request a new one" (5) to begin the process of adding a new competitor.




Requesting A New Competitor


Once you've clicked on the "Request a new one" button, a dialogue box will open, asking for the competitor details.


Enter the name of the competitor (1) exactly as you wish to see it in your report, then enter the main URL of their ecommerce website (2) and click "Create" (3).


Once your competitor is ready, we'll notify you that you can begin adding products for them.




Adding A New Competitor


After requesting a new competitor, they will be added to the Competitor Search table on the "Competitors" page.


Their availability will be set to "Pending" (1) and their status to "Active" (2). Once the site has been successfully processed, availability will change to "Available" (3).


If for any reason, the site cannot be processed, availability will be set to "On Hold" and status to "Paused."


Only "Active" competitors count toward your limit.



Removing A Competitor


To remove a competitor completely, scroll to the list of existing competitors on the "Competitors" page (1), and 

click on the "Status" field (2).


Select "Delete" (3) from the drop-down, and then click on the tick to apply (4).


Please Note: To remove a competitor, all product URLs for that competitor need to have been removed first.
