Why is the price of my product showing as 0 in Pricing Analysis, but not in the shopping feed?

If your product appears with a price of 0 in the Pricing Analysis, but shows a valid price in your shopping feed, here's what might be happening:

Possible Reasons:

  1. The product is no longer available at the source:

    • Pricing Analysis reflects pricing data based on live scraping of the product source (typically your website or feed).

    • If the product was available previously but is no longer on the site or has been removed from the feed, our system will still display the product (as we retain historical data for 90 days), but it will show a 0 price because no current price could be retrieved.

  2. Product was viewed in the last 90 days:

    • We store data for up to 90 days, so even if a product was seen during that period, it will continue to show in Pricing Analysis.

    • However, if the product is no longer available during the most recent crawl, the price will appear as 0.

Key Points to Note:

  • A 0 price in Pricing Analysis typically means the product was once tracked, but has since become unavailable or unlisted from the website or feed we use to retrieve data.

What You Can Do:

  • Check if the product is still live on your site or the feed source.

  • Ensure your product URLs are correct and not returning errors (like 404 pages).

  • Update your product feed to reflect only currently available items if you want to avoid confusion in the analysis data.
